So, what is the simple rule to find out the minimum length of a cable tie you require? It is simple: Simply take the thickness or diameter of the bundle need to tie, and multiply this by five.
By ensuring that your cable tie is at least five times the length of the diameter required, will ensure that you have long enough of a cable tie that is also practical and convenient to use.
